Experience
Where every day brings a new discovery
Mura di Levante is the perfect starting point to discover a land where life follows the rhythm of the seasons, the sea breeze, and the scent of earth and olive trees.
From gastronomic adventures to hidden beaches, from cultural festivals to timeless countryside walks, here, every day is an invitation to experience the authentic soul of Puglia.
Flavours of the Valle d’Itria
Taste the true flavours of Puglia, where tradition and innovation meet at every table.
Savour olive oil produced in centuries-old mills like Masseria Brancati near Ostuni, or enjoy a wine tasting in boutique vineyards around Locorotondo and Martina Franca. Discover Michelin-recommended restaurants such as Cibus in Ceglie Messapica, and traditional masserie where farm-to-table dining is still a way of life.
From Olive Groves to the Sea
In just 15–20 minutes, reach the crystalline shores of the Adriatic.
Relax on the wild beaches of Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve, snorkel among rocky coves at Torre Pozzella, or enjoy the golden sands of Pilone and Lido Morelli.
For a more exclusive seaside experience, Guna Beach Club offers a refined private setting with shaded sunbeds, excellent dining, and a relaxed, natural atmosphere right on the sand.
Festivals of Art, Music and Light
Every summer, the Valle d’Itria transforms into a vibrant stage for culture, music, and creativity.
Attend a candlelit opera performance at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca, enjoy live jazz under the stars at the Locus Festival in Locorotondo, or dance to electronic beats at the Viva Festival set among ancient olive groves.
Photography and contemporary art enthusiasts will find inspiration at PhEST – See Beyond the Sea in Monopoli, where the Mediterranean is explored through images, installations, and new narratives.
The Artisans of Apulia
Discover the essence of Apulian craftsmanship and vintage soul.
Wander through the antique and artisan markets scattered among the villages of the Valle d’Itria:
- The Ostuni Antique Market (second Sunday of every month) transforms the old town into a stage of vintage furniture, rare books, ceramics, and collectibles.
- The Martina Franca Vintage Market (third Sunday) fills the elegant piazzas with antiques and artisanal curiosities. If you are staying in Puglia during the second week of August, don’t miss the Martina Franca Annual Exhibition: a prestigious event dedicated to antique, modern art, and vintage treasures, set in the heart of the historic center.
- The Ceglie Messapica Market (last Sunday) offers a selection of traditional crafts, pottery, and unique vintage finds.
Visit the “ceramics quarter” of Grottaglie, where workshops continue ancient traditions, or explore the linen boutiques of Cisternino, where local artisans weave stories into every thread.
Every object tells the story of a land where time passes slowly, and beauty is made by hand.
